SUNGKYUNKWAN UNIVERSITY (SKKU), SEOUL, KOREA

Vahan Agopyan, president of the University of Sao Paulo, visited SKKU's Research & Business Foundation and N Center (nano and neuroscience research center) on April 24^th to commemorate the 60^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Brazil. The Korea Foundation invited President Agopyan to promote research and business cooperation between the two countries.

President Agopyan visited Korea and SKKU to propose establishing a base for training Korean studies scholars in Brazil and realize a "sandwich system", which is a convergent program in research and business cooperation.

President Dong Ryeol SHIN said, "We are anticipating that the joint research with the University of Sao Paulo will create an opportunity to activate other forms of collaboration and business cooperation and mutual on-site education for students."
