Department of Economics Students Publish Articles in Leading Journals

Professor Doo Jin RYU of the Department of Economics opened a research credit system for undergraduate students and guided them to write research thesis papers since last year. Throughout this class, the students completed their research theses and published their articles in famous journals.

An article by student Tae Hyun KO was recently published in the SSCI journal "Sustainability". In addition, the articles of students Hye Jin LIM and Won Woo CHOI were published in "Management Review" and "Korea Business Review".

In the Humanities and Social Sciences Departments, it is rare for undergraduate students to publish their articles in domestic and overseas leading journals; this is the first time for the Dept. of Economics.
