Our university has decided to collaborate with Samsung Display to operate the 'Display Track,' an employment-linked talent development program. On February 1st, at the Natural Science Campus Engineering Building 2, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the operation of the Display Track.
The 'Display Track' is a program where the university selects outstanding talents, conducts display education programs, and receives scholarship and financial support from Samsung Display. The program guarantees employment after graduation. Samsung Display plans to operate the Display Track in a total of eight universities, including ours, selecting around 70 talents each year and nurturing them into future display experts.
The signing ceremony held on this day was attended by Kwon Ki-won, the Dean of the College of Information and Communication, Lee Chang-hee, Director of Samsung Display Research Institute (Vice President), and participating professors and Samsung Display staff.
During the ceremony, Lee Chang-hee, Director of Samsung Display Research Institute, emphasized, "Continuously nurturing and securing specialized talents is crucial for maintaining the technological competitiveness in the Korean display industry."
