“No time to hesitate… it is important to pursue your dream as early as possible”

“In the time you hesitate and worry, take a step further to decide and go forward“

Han Jun-hee who started working from October after receiving an acceptance letter from Google’s US Headquarters in March, gave this message to students. Although Mr. Han is only 21 years old, his past represents his efforts over the years.

In the age of 18, he graduated early from Hansung Science High School, and entered the Department of Software in Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) through its special admissions track.

In university, he teamed up with a friend to enter the International College Programing Competition (ICPC) held by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), representing Korea for 2 times consecutively, and received a special award.

“When I received the job application e-mail from Google, it felt like a dream” Han recollected his feeling when it first began with Google.

After submitting a simple application document followed by a on-line interview and 5 hour off-line interview with Google Korea, Han got his acceptance notice.

Han stated the importance of setting a goal and pursuing it. On his goal for the future he says “As I have done till now, I will meet a lot of people to listen,  learn and grow more” and “there will be many difficulties and obstacles to challenge but I will persevere and succeed.”
