The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and Institute for Information & Communications Technology Promotion (IIPT) has selected 7 university research labs for the SW StarLab Project.
SW StarLab is a project that supports long-term research by selecting excellent university labs by field, in order to develop SW ability to the global top level.
SKKU’s Distributed Computing (Prof. Dong Kun SHIN) was selected as one of the 7 labs, and will receive 30 million won over 8 years.
“In order to lead the 4th industrial revolution throughout the SW technology innovation, we should secure fundamental core technology and cultivate talented individuals” said Sang Hong LEE, the Head of the IIPT Center.
