On the interview with “Seoul Economy”, President Dong Ryeol SHIN argued that “creating specialized project organizations are ideal for the discovery and promotion of potential projects”. He also claimed that many successful outcomes are shown in graduate-level research labs.
Currently, Korean universities are looking for a “Korean-style” project model by establishing project organizations in areas of creative talent development, biofunctional system, big data convergence, neuroscience imaging and artificial intelligence.
SKKU has announced that 8 project organizations will be established for a concentrated support toward the development of potential technologies.
