BK21 FinTech Research & Education Center Successfully Held an International Conference

SKKU’s BK21 Project, The FinTech Research & Education Center for Global Leaders (Director: Prof. Kyo-Jik Song), in collaboration with the Korean Finance Association, successfully held a “2020 Global AI Finance Research Conference” on December 14 (Mon) ~ 15 (Tue).

Due to the COVID-19, the number of scholars, who were attending physically at the conference, were minimized. In the meanwhile, overseas researchers actively participated in the presentation and discussion via ZOOM. Through academic sessions, recent research papers in the FinTech sector were presented and the in-depth presentations and discussions on how AI can be applied in the management of pension funds were conducted. In addition, Professor David Yermack drew the attention of researchers by presenting the direction and possibilities of research in the field of Digital Currency in his keynote speech.
