Sungkyunkwna University (SKKU) International Affairs office affiliated student organization HI-Club members and the students of the Society Of Nepalese Students In Korea (SONSIK) delivered the earthquake relief donations to the Nepalese Embassy on May 12.

The urgently conducted donation was organized by Hi-Club and Nepalese students to console the victims and offer support for the urban damage caused by the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that devastated the nation’s capital, Kathmandu on April 25.

The donation campaign was carried out for five days starting from April 27 at both campuses. Many students provided support for the relief efforts. There was even one student who donated an iPad on the spot, which he had won as a prize at the graduate school fair.

“The SKKU students’ donations filled with warm hearts will help Nepal stand on its feet again.”stated Nepal Ambassador Kaman Singh Lama as he expressed his gratitude toward the students.
