On Jan. 7, Prof. Kim, Deug Joong(Dept. of Advanced Materials Science & Engineering) was selected as a new senior member of National Academy Engineering of Korea (NAEK-President Oh, Young Ho) of the year 2016. Also, Prof. Song, Sung Jin(Dept. of Mechanical Engineering), Prof. Yoo, Chung Sik(Dept. of Architectural and Civil Engineering) and Prof. Kim, Duk Joon Prof(Dept. of Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science and Engineering)
were selected as new regular members of NAEK.
Through a vote, NAEK annually selects senior members among those who show outstanding research performance and innovative-technical development and, consequently, contributes to development of nation. The number of senior members of NAEK is 292 including this year’s new members. Regular members go through a screening process to be a senior member.
