SKKU Campus Town Project Board, 

Held ‘The 2nd District Council for Co-prosperity’

 

SKKU Campus Town Project Board (Chief. Kyunghwan Kim) held ‘The 2nd District Council for Co-prosperity’ at Kingo start-up space on August 11 (Tue). This meeting was held as sub-committee meeting and actively reflected the opinions of the 1st Council held in June.


The 9 members of sub-committee shared various opinions on co-prosperity and economic revitalization of Jongro-gu and suggested programs that can be collaborated next year.


The ‘Campus Town Project Board’ is an urban regeneration project that brings revitalization of local economy and solves youth problems such as jobs and housing by collaborating public resources of Seoul City Hall and District (Jongro-gu) with university’s human / material / intellectual resources.


SKKU participated in the Campus Town Project with Jongro-gu that was organized by Seoul City Hall and it was selected as ‘comprehensive type’. SKKU Campus Town Project ‘comprehensive type’ is the project that encompasses residential / cultural / commercial / regional cooperation while focusing on youth start-ups, and 8 billion KRW will be provided for 4 years.
