SKKU Signs a Business Agreement with Woori Bank

to Spread the Sharing Donation Culture

- A joint marketing MOU to promote trust-based asset design and utilize ‘Woori Love Trust Service’

SKKU and Woori Bank signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on October 20 (Thur) at the President’s office of the 600th Anniversary Hall in HSSC to spread the sharing donation culture.

SKKU President Dong Ryeol Shin and Woori Bank President Won Duk Lee attended the signing ceremony and agreed to cooperate in revitalizing the donation culture through Woori Bank’s ‘Woori Love Trust Service.’

‘Woori Love Trust Service’ is Woori Bank’s inheritance and gift trust service. When the trustor (donor) trusts Woori Bank with securities, real estate, etc., the trust income is paid to the trustor during their lifetime, and in the event of a failure, the trust property is donated to the beneficiary (SKKU) designated by the trust contract in the event of a miscarriage.

An advisory team composed of financial experts provides tax advice and legal consulting, and various flexible forms of inheritance and donation design are possible according to the donor’s donation philosophy and life plan. In addition, the consignor will receive reasonable courtesy from SKKU as a prospective donor.

SKKU President Shin said, “Through this partnership, we hope that the two organizations will jointly work to spread the heritage donation culture, and through this, we expect to revitalize heritage donation that can add meaning to life through social contribution.”

Woori Bank President Lee said, “We will do our best to manage donors’ trust assets, and Woori Bank will actively participate in spreading the donation culture in our society.”
