Office of International Relations Views : 6858 Attach ( 0 ) 게시글 내용 2021 SAMSUNG Institute of Technology Graduation Ceremony The 2021 graduation ceremony of Samsung Institute of Technology (President Gye-Hyeon Kyung), which has signed an academic exchange agreement with Sungkyunkwan University, was held on February 22, 2022. Through this graduation ceremony, six Ph.D.s and 26 master’s degrees graduated from the SKKU’s Department of Semiconductor and Display Engineering and 25 bachelor’s degrees graduates from the Department of Semiconductor Engineering at Samsung Institute of Technology. Due to COVID-19, the graduation ceremony was conducted in an online/offline hybrid. At the ceremony, congratulatory speeches by Sungkyunkwan University President Dong-Ryeol Shin and Samsung Institute of Technology President Gye-Hyeon Kyung were played in the pre-recorded video. Outstanding graduates who won the Dean’s list, the commendation from the Minister of Education, and the Best Paper Award attended the ceremony face-to-face. Other graduates and their families participated in the graduation ceremony online in real-time to celebrate the achievement of graduates of the Samsung Institute of Technology who successfully completed their jobs and studies. Samsung Institute of Technology is Korea’s first in-house university approved by the Ministry of Education, and its master’s and doctorate courses are conducted by the SKKU’s Department of Semiconductor and Display Engineering and operated by the SKKU Extension School. Since 2021, the two schools continue to have a deeper relationship through a consignment operation of academic courses and academic exchange agreements, and more extensive and in-depth academic and educational cooperation is expected in the future.
