Department of French Language and Literature – Government of QuebecOffice in Seoul Signed a MOU
On May 14, the Department of French Language and Literature signed a MOU with the Government of Quebec Office in Seoul to provide internship opportunities for students. This is the first MOU signed by a French-speaking diplomatic mission in Korea and private institution.
Celebrating 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Government of Quebec Office in Seoul, it created an opportunity to promote Quebec culture and expand bilateral exchanges with Sungkyunkwan University’s Department of French Language and Literature, providing students with permanent internship opportunities through a special relationship with Quebec, a representative region of North American French.
At the event, Hyun-Soon Park (Vice President of International Relations), Hee-Seok Kang (Dean of Department of French Language and Literature), Ji-Yong Jung (Director of Center for Francophone Studies) and Geneviève Rolland (Representative of Government of Quebec Office in Seoul), and Yunhee Lee (Attache of Government of Quebec Office in Seoul) attended.
