Professor Kyojik Song (Department of FinTech) published a translation

<DeFi and the Future of Finance>

Professor Kyojik Song, head of the BK21 FinTech Talent Development Education Research Team at SKKU, recently published a translation <DeFi and the Future of Finance>. DeFi is an attractive acronym for “decentralized finance,” but it obscures the true potential of a new financial system built from scratch. Today, DeFi contains billions of dollars in assets, which may seem small compared to hundreds of trillions of dollars in assets operating in traditional financial systems, but it is growing rapidly.

<DeFi and the Future of Finance>, written by Campbell Harvey (Professor at Duke University), the world’s best scholar in finance, is an authoritative introduction to help you understand DeFi.

This book clearly points to the final destination for DeFi and related technologies and also provides a blueprint for the future that these innovations will bring. It is not just a descriptive description, but it leads readers to participate in the democratization of finance that DeFi is aiming for by showing examples and road maps of realizing DeFi in detail.

Professor Song translated the book written by Campbell Harvey (Professor at Duke University), the world’s top financial researcher, into Korean at the request of Professor Harvey, and said, “This book analyzes the opportunities and risks of blockchain-based DeFi. It is worth reading for readers interested in the development of the virtual asset market.”
