Confucian and Oriental Studies

The College of Confucian Studies and Eastern Philosophy is considered to be one of the top colleges at Sungkyunkwan University. It is the home of education subjects based on Confucianism, that includes Korean Philosophy, Chinese Philosophy, and Eastern Aesthetics. Also, as the world's oldest college, it has inherited the tradition of Sungkyunkwan since Taehak was established in Goguryeo.

Business Administration

The master's and doctoral programs have four major majors: marketing, organization, human resources, management information, production management, accounting, and financial and finance track. It aims to cultivate talented scholars who can grasp the scholastic bird and train it, and to cultivate talented scholars capable of integrating it into the new-western management field, and to cultivate enterprising consciousness and problem solving ability to diagnose problems and establish management strategies by themselves.

The College of Education founded in 1972, has inherited the tradition and spirit of the best national university in the Joseon Dynasty, Sung Kyun Kwan (成均館), founded in 1398. It has contributed to Korean education and national development by leading the field of education research, as well as cultivating good secondary school teachers and educationists over the past 40 years.

The Academy of East Asian Studies

AEAS constantly makes new methodologies for education and establishes East Asian study by managing the Research Cluster, which is an institute of long-term and interdisciplinary studies. Participation of graduates in this Research Cluster and foreign studies make research-education integrated systems. Moreover, since it has affiliated research institutes, graduate schools, undergraduate curriculum, andsupport for information, it produces synergy with the relational unity for each component.
