"Dasomi" is an official student volunteer group of Sungkyunkwan University's Student Affairs Division, and is an organization that strives to practice sharing and caring of love, both internally and externally, as it is derived from the pure Korean word "Dasom" meaning love. Since its foundation in 1996, Dasomi has practiced service based on the most basic and correct idea that service can be practiced even in very small parts of our lives. Dasomi does its best to providing hope to neighbors in need of help as well as to promote self-confidence and foster good self-consciousness through members' volunteer work under the value of 'I myself too can help others.'
- It will become a staff member of the official event of Sungkyunkwan University (Injajeon, etc.) to help keep the event running smoothly and to encourage students of Sungkyunkwan University to participate in the event. During the festival, we opened a weekly booth to sell items that help the socially disadvantaged and promoted related campaigns. Other volunteer activities in the school include volunteer work in farming villages, education services for local children centers, and mentoring camps for college students under the Korean Scholarship Foundation. In addition, the school conducts student-autonomous volunteer work, such as the "Thank You" project to send appreciate letters and gifts to the school's environmental cleaner and traffic agent.
- Externally, regular service is performed more than once a week in conjunction with Margaret's Children's Center and the Jongno General Social Welfare Center. It promotes the improvement of academic ability and emotional development of elementary and middle school students, and it makes memories and spends meaningful time. In addition, the school strives to deliver the value of sharing and consideration that Dosomi seeks by actively searching for the appropriate services such as briquettes, Preparing Kimchi cultural event staff, and mural services.
