Global classes invited by professors from overseas prestigious universities have been held since last year to provide high-quality classes created by teachers from overseas prestigious universities to students to improve the level of education and establish a global learning platform.

1. Lecturer: Prof. Serenella Iovino
 - Serenella Iovino is Professor of Italian Studies and Environmental Humanities at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
 - Working in the framework of the new materialisms, she has contributed to the development of material ecocriticism and is one of the animators of the environmental humanities debate.

2. Contents: "Philosophy and Climate Change: A Theoretical and Personal Journey."
 - How does philosophy help us think about climate change? And what are the texts that allow us to narrate it? In this lecture, Serenella Iovino, an internationally renowned theorist of Environmental Humanities and essayist, addresses these questions by sharing her journey.
 - From studying 18th-century German philosophy to classic environmental ethics, and through the ontologies of new materialisms, we will come to consider material and narrative texts that enable us to see the environment as both agent and story at the same time.
 - Weaving her landscapes (particularly Venice) with global dynamics, Iovino will lead us to question the way to narrate climate change, in light of but also beyond new programmatic literary genres such as cli-fi.
